Hardcore RP servers tighten every rule. There is permadeath, medical roleplay is required, and characters take real time to heal from injuries. A bullet wound means your character has days off the job recovering; a death means they're gone forever. Players behave differently in hardcore communities because there's more on the line. Running after a suspect into a known ambush won't make you a hero. It'll cost you a character you've spent six months building.
Hardcore servers tend to attract veteran RPers looking to take things seriously with real consequences. Hardcore servers also purge people pretty fast - the first time you lose a character to a bad decision, you'll know for sure if you wanted hardcore RP or not. Communities tend to be smaller, sessions are slower-paced, and the average player has years of roleplay experience. Don't pick a hardcore community as your first GTA 6 RP server.

Full Throttle RPPermadeath changes how you make every choice. Driving recklessly, throwing punches, taking dangerous jobs all matter when your character can permanently die. Most hardcore servers require death to be approved by an admin or the player on the receiving end (CK consent). Other servers employ full permadeath with no consent. Read the death rules before playing because they define the city more than any other rule.
Hardcore servers take injury seriously. A gunshot wound demands field medical RP — clotting, transport to hospital, stabilisation — before your character can be patched up. The recovery process forces characters into light duty for days or weeks of real time. Players schedule around injury cycles. Skipping your medical RP is one of the quickest ways to earn a warning from admins.
Hardcore RP servers have strict realism rules: permadeath, mandatory medical RP, slow recovery time from injuries, no respawning into the same conflict. The idea is that there's more at stake because if you lose your character, you actually lose your character.
Character kill — a death that permanently ends your character's existence. On hardcore servers, this can occur from one failed gunfight. Most servers require an administrator's approval or the receiving player's permission before confirming a CK.
It depends on the server, but generally 24-72 hours of real time for serious injuries. While healing, your character is placed on light-duty RP - no fighting, no strenuous labour. Some servers link healing to IC medical milestones instead of a timer.
They usually do, but new players often struggle when they first start. The RP is slower-paced, the rules are stricter, and mistakes are punished more heavily. New RPers will usually enjoy themselves more on a casual server first.
On consent-based CK servers, yes, but repeated refusal harms your reputation and restricts future RP opportunities. On full permadeath servers, no. The death stands regardless.
Sure, but combat is heavily regulated. Most require IC reasoning, escalation steps, and the ability for both sides to walk away cleanly. Out-of-nowhere violence derails the format, and you will be warned quickly.
