Servers with shallow crafting feel like collecting busywork. Servers with deep crafting trees — tools that craft tools, materials that refine into materials — create real economies between players. Hunters trade pelts to crafters who make jackets they trade to traders who run cross-map routes. Look for servers where crafting is a meaningful specialisation, not a checkbox.
